Our Hours of Operation Are:

Monday - Friday: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm

Every other Thursday: 7:30 am - 7:00 pm (by appointment only)

Saturday: 8:00 am - 12:00 noon

Dr. Hight is originally from Hickory, North Carolina. He attended North Carolina State University as an undergraduate in Zoology and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989.  From 1989 through 1995 he practiced as a small animal veterinarian at Boulevard Animal Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina. He, his wife Lori, and their son David relocated to the Charlotte area in 1995 to form Hight Veterinary Hospital, PA. He has been practicing at Hight Veterinary Hospital, PA since its opening in May 1997.

Dr. Woods was born and raised in Gastonia, NC. He attended The University of North Carolina-Charlotte as an undergraduate in Biology and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia in 2005. After graduation, Dr. Woods returned to the Charlotte area to practice, along with his wife Ashley and their 2 dogs and 2 cats. In April 2008, they welcomed a new son into their family. Dr. Woods is no stranger to Hight Veterinary Hospital, PA. While attending college for his undergraduate, he worked at our hospital and we are very proud and honored that he chose to return here to continue his career.
