Hemorrhoids
Hemorrhoids are a very common malady that affect all ages. Our Western high fat, low fiber diet in conjunction with family predisposition, is responsible for this disease.

The advancements in laser treatment of medical diseases has made available a new tool in the treatment of hemorrhoids.

We have been using laser surgery since 1985 and have accumulated a large and successful experience with it. Pain and postoperative discomfort are minimized with this modality.

We also offer in office laser treatments for external hemorrhoidal disease.

Diverticulitis
Approximately 3% of the population has diverticula at the age of 40. Seventy percent will have diverticula by the age of 70. Most of the time, diverticula is not symptomatic; however, in some instances infection and/or severe bleeding can be a complication of this condition. Early education on a high fiber diet will decrease the probabilities of progression of this malady. Serious complications of this disease are managed medically and/or surgically.
