Meet Greg Johnson
Greg Johnson received his Master of Education Degree from Virginia State College in 1973 and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida in 1976. He has been admitted to the Florida Bar since 1976 and is also currently admitted to the United State Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit; U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida; and the Volusia County Bar Association.
Mr. Johnson has over 32 years of experience as a criminal trial attorney handling a large variety of cases from DUI to murder. Immediately after receiving his J.D., Mr. Johnson began his career as an Assistant Public Defender in Bartow, FL, for one year. Since then he has worked in private practices and in government positions. Mr. Johnson has been Division Chief of a Special Prosecution Unit dealing in organized crime, drug trafficking and public corruption. In 1989-1990, just prior to starting his own practice, he was First Assistant State Attorney, responsible for supervising 55 other lawyers in 4 counties. In 1990, he opened his own firm as a sole practitioner and has been running Greg Johnson, Attorney at Law ever since.
