Vernon Leeman “Lee” Huckle, 66, of Gastonia, passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Ontario, Canada to the late Vernon Vincent and Florence Leeman Huckle.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Linda Duckworth Huckle, one son, three daughters, one brother, four sisters, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Interment will be private.

Annie Mae Pate, 91, of 985 Hide Away Trail Clover. passed away Thursday, November 19th, 2009 at her residence.
She was born November 17, 1918 in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late
John and georgia Proctor Smith.
Mrs. Pate was a member of Zion Baptist Church, Gastonia. She enjoyed reading.

A funeral service will be held  2:30 pm on Monday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, Gastonia
officiated by Rev. Leo Kuykendall.
Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.
A visitation will be held 1:00 to 2:30 pm prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.

She is survived by her son, Roger Pate of Mt. Holly; daughters and sons in-law, Brenda Pate of Clover,SC,
Cheryl and Bobby Stewart of Gastonia, Janice Bumgardner of Gastonia, Esther and Mike White of Clover,SC; brother, Ernest Smith of Bessemer City; sister, Shirley Parker of Bessemer City; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus C. Pate; son, Larry C. Pate; granddaughter, Cindy Tillman; brother, John Smith; sisters, Ruth Kirkland and Ola Benfield.

Debbie  Mitchem, 56, of  Gastonia. passed away Thursday, November 19th, 2009 at her residence.
She was born October 28, 1953 in Charlotte, NC,
daughter of the late Raymond and Edna Hester Evans.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm on Monday at Spiritual Guidence Church, Mt. Holly
officiated by Rev. Tim Small
Interment is private

She is survived by her husband, John Daniel "Danny" Mitchem of the home; sons and daughters in-law, John Daniel Mitchem Jr. and Teresa Mitchem,  Shannon Doyle Mitchem and Dawn Mitchem all of Mt. Holly;
daughters and sons in-law, Leslie and John Zizza of Gastonia, Lindy Leigh Mitchem and Johnny Howell of Belmont; 7 grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Kathy Pope, Suzie Wyatt and Lynn Sisk.
