You should store your jewelry in clean, dry places.

 

Do not wear jewelry while gardening and/or doing housework.


Remember to keep all jewelry separate; do not throw all pieces in a drawer. Wrapping them in velvet, tissue paper, silk or in a Ziploc keeps them separate and protects them.
Allow your jeweler to check for loose stones regularly.


Make sure to clean jewelry frequently to keep them free if dirt and debris.


Restring pearls when the cord starts to fray.


Do not over crowd your jewelry box; this can cause you to misplace, lose, or damage your jewelry.


Make sure not to expose your precious gems to harmful chemicals such as chlorine and detergents.
