Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry is also known as WAM. WAM stands for Whole Armour Ministries. We, here at WAM believe that for every problem, there is a solution. Our purpose is to provide the necessities and means to those desires, to enable to build and live prosperous lives. We want to impart the knowledge and skills that produces total life transformation, whether it is spiritually, mentally, socially, or financially. We are the arm in which GOD uses to reach those that society has labeled incorrigible. This ministry is a Bible-Based Program that intends to resolve each problem that we encounter by using the incorruptible, mind renewing WORD OF GOD.
“While sitting in the Shelby County Jail On March 21, 1998, I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. Shortly afterwards, as I gazed through the periphery window, directly across the street was a daycare center. As I observed the children playing suddenly my heart, mind and body was overshadowed with our unseen presence (It was the Holy Spirit). These children all of a sudden became the most beautiful sight that I had ever witnessed. While teary eyed, God began to minister to me through the lives of those little ones, how precious we all are in his sight. While looking through the window of a jail cell, God began to reveal part of his dynamic plan for my life. God has anointed, equipped and appointed me to help train up children in the way that they should go and when they’re old, they won’t depart from it. God has placed a burning and passionate desire in my heart to help as many young people as possible and lead them to Jesus.”

While God was molding and making one of our Ministers behind bars, he was also working with us in the church. This is not only a local ministry, but a global, worldwide national ministry.
Our Programs:
We offer: Whole House Rehab Center
These places serve as an alternative to juvenile delinquent centers for troubled youth of all ages. To offer a place of residents to find support and counseling for those being released from juvenile. We assist in job placement and educational needs. We here a WAM fully believe that Jesus is the ultimate answer to all existing problems. This program not only works with troubled youth, but we also assist in daycare, adoption and preschool assistance and counseling. Primarily, we want to reach those that seem unreachable. Bringing hope to the hopeless, help to the helpless and becoming friends to the friendless. Come join us as we fight to take our youth back.
