X-Ray Department At The Foot & Ankle Institute we are able to allow our patients the convenience of taking X-rays, if needed, right here in our facility. This alleviates the need for patients to go elsewhere to have this service performed. This also allows the doctor to be able to make a more educated and complete decision on both the patient's diagnosis and treatment.
Orthotics and Prosthetics Lab Many patients seen at The Foot & Ankle Institute sometimes may require assistive devices. These may include custom shoe gear including complicated diabetic shoes. Oftentimes many disorders of the foot and ankle may also need an external arch support. These are often called orthotics and are most frequently made in a custom fashion to fit the patient as perfectly as possible. We are also fortunate to have an in-house certified orthotist/prosthetist to satisfy this need.
