Taking care of your teeth is the key to a healthy, beautiful smile. Here are some tips to help keep your teeth and gums healthy.
There are four basic steps to caring for teeth and gums:
- Brushing - Brush at least twice a day. If you can, brush after every meal. Replace your toothbrush every three or four months or sooner if the bristles become worn.
- Flossing - Floss once a day. Flossing gets rid of food and plaque between the teeth, where your toothbrush cannot reach.
- Eating Right - Avoid snacking on sugary foods which can lead to tooth decay.
- Visiting The Dentist - Visit your dentist regularly for professional cleanings and oral exams
