Depending on location, apartments may be available for rent furnished with furniture or unfurnished into which a tenant usually moves in with their own furniture. Most properties come with a furnished kitchen including all appliances. It is very important to ask before you view the property.

Do you have a laundry facilities and/or washer and dryer hook-ups?
For apartments, laundry facilities may be found in a common area accessible to all the tenants in the building, or each apartment may have its own machines. For homes, it is important to find out before you sign your lease what types of machines can be used in the home. The two types of washer and dryers that can be used in most homes are gas or electric.
