Kim and Erica are the ones you'll most likely talk to when calling our office.
Kim is our financial coordinator. She handles our financial arrangements as well as any billing questions you have. She also works on your behalf to receive payment from your insurance company for any services rendered. She and her husband stay active with their two boys, Shane and Kyle, and their busy baseball schedule. Erica, originally from Tennessee, is our appointment coordinator. She handles most appointment scheduling and insurance verification. When not at work she enjoys the beach, decorating, and spending time with her boyfriend and two dogs, Jasmine and Captain. If you have any questions about your insurance benefits she is always more that happy to help. Christina and Stacy are our dental assistants. They have received formal training in all areas of clinical dentistry.
Christina, a native of Charlotte, had been with us since the office opened. As well as an assistant she is also the office manager. She has 8 years experience, all of which are within the same office of Dr. Wells. When not working, she and her husband stay busy with their children Austin and Lucus. She is eager to answer any financial, insurance, or treatment related questions that you may have. Stacy, a West Virginia native, has also been with us since the office opened. In fact she and her husband, Paul moved here just so she could work with Dr. Wells. She has 14 years of experience as an assistant and has knowledge of all aspects of dentistry. She also stays busy with her daughter Kylie. Donna and Christy are our Registered Dental Hygienists. They are committed to helping our patients achieve good oral health and a beautiful smile.
Donna, a native of South Carolina, has been with our office since January of 2001. She brings more than 20 years of experience to our practice, 8 of which were practicing in a periodontal office. She has also taught Dental Hygiene at York Technical College. When not working she enjoys spending time with her 3 children, Derrick, Brandon, and Courtney, and going to baseball games and dance competitions. Christy has been with our office since August of 2003. She is a native of Charlotte. After over 2 years as a Dental Assistant she graduated from the Dental Hygienist Program at Central Piedmont Community College. Since becoming a Dental Hygienist in 2002, she had taught at Central Piedmont Community College’s dental assisting program. During her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out, and rock climbing.
Dr. Wells is a native of Monongah, West Virginia. He attended Fairmont State College between 1989 and 1992 and graduated from West Virginia School of Dentistry in 1996. He furthered his education by participating in an advanced education of general dentistry program at the Physicians Office Center in Morgantown, West Virginia. After moving to Charlotte in 1997, he joined a group practice in which he worked as an associate for 3 years. He opened his office in September 1999 and prides himself on the small town atmosphere he provides to his patients. When not working, Dr. Well enjoys golfing and watching sports.
