Breast Augmentation and Lift – Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure used to create fuller and firmer-looking breasts. This procedure is especially helpful to those mothers who wish to restore breast shape after child-bearing. A silicone-covered implant, filled with saline solution, is placed behind the Pectoralis Major muscle in the breast, or simply just behind the already existing breast tissue. It is very important that the result of this surgery is both natural-looking and that it induced a greater self confidence in the patient.
Breast lift, or mastopexy, is another procedure that is commonly preformed in conjunction with breast augmentation. This procedure re-contours loose sagging breasts by raising and reshaping what aging and gravity have done. A breast lift is often preformed to reshape breasts with downward facing nipples as well.
Breast Reconstruction – After surviving breast cancer, some women are left only one breast, and sometimes they aren’t left with any. Luckily, breast reconstruction can often be preformed immediately after the mastectomy. Through the use of skin expanders and breast implants, breast reconstruction is a sure way to begin ones life once again.
Abdominoplasty and Body Contouring – An abdominoplasty, or tummy tuck, is a surgical procedure that smoothes and firms the abdomen when diet and exercise seem futile. Excess skin and fat are removed, and muscles of the abdominal wall are tightened. Sometimes, scars and stretch marks can be eliminated as well. Good candidates for this procedure include women who have experienced multiple pregnancies and those who have undergone significant weight gain or loss.
Body contouring in the form of liposuction is a relatively simply surgical procedure. Liposuction discreetly abolishes excess fat from certain areas on the body. After small incisions ore made, fat is removed through a small tube. Although this procedure is very helpful; it cannot substitute for adequate diet and nutrition.
