Dr. Thomas M. Beahm, M.D., F.A.C.S. has been in practice in the Hamilton County area since July 1983. Dr. Beahm has been certified by the American Board of Surgery as well as the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Beahm is also a member of the American Society of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons, Southeastern Plastic Surgery Society, a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons, and is licensed in the state of Tennessee, Arizona, Nevada and Kansas, and Georgia. He serves as Secretary/Treasurer for the Chattanooga Academy of Surgery and is listed in the Who's Who National Registry.

Thomas Beahm is also a member in good standing in the Hamilton County Medical Society, and a member of the American Medical Association.

Operation Smile Mission Nablus, W. Bank

Although Dr. Beahm grew up in the state of Kansas, he is world renowned for surgeries performed while associated with Operation Smile. Having performed surgeries in Moscow, Russia; Gaza City and Nablus, Palestine, and Venezuela.

These services were donated for the children of these countries who had suffered congenital facial deformities (cleft lip and palate) and burn injuries. Teaching the art of Plastic surgeries were the main thrust of these missions and Dr. Beahm has also been involved with the teaching of Plastic Surgery Residents here at Erlanger Hospital.

The leading edge of technology has been brought to Chattanooga, by Dr. Beahm. Dr. Beahm is a member of American Laser Society and has completed training in this field from Harvard University. Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery Center offers services for the removal of birthmarks, spider veins, hemangiomas and tattoos.

A native of Kansas, Dr. Beahm received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Kansas in 1976. The University of Kansas-Wichita was where Thomas Beahm received his training in general and was granted certification in the specialty of General Surgery in 1982. After completing a plastic surgery residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center - Kansas City, Dr. Beahm was certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1985.

Dr. Beahm's clinical interest include breast enhancement, breast reduction and reconstruction, liposuction & liposculpturing using the latest techniques of ultrasonicassisted lipectomy, abdominplasty and facial rejuvenation & laser surgery.
