Are you open on Saturday?



Generally, we do have someone here that can supply you with a written estimate between the hours of 9am to 1pm on Saturdays.  However, to ensure that someone will definitely be available please give us a call during the week and let us know you will be stopping by.


Can you match my car paint color?



We pride ourselves in providing the finest paint system to ensure a factory quality finish.  We are constantly upgrading our technology and training to ensure excellent paint match.  Also we are one of the few Collision Repair Shops in this area that has a heated oven paint booth.  This allows us to paint in any weather, and bake the paint just as the factory does.  Better equipment and knowldge make for a finish that will last, and match up to the factory paint. 


Do you just paint vehicles?



We specialize in automobile paint refinishing; however, we do have access to BASF's entire line of sprayable products.  So if you have an item that would benefit from being sprayed with a high quality paint please feel free to contact us to speak with one of our knowledgeable staff. 


Do you offer overall paint jobs?



Yes, we do.  Generally our policy is to take in one overall paint job at a time to ensure a quick return of your vehicle.  For pricing please contact us.


Do you offer any additional services, beyond collision repair?



Yes.  Our quality work does not stop with collision and body repair.  Just let our staff know of any additional services that your vehicle may require.  Additional services include, but are not limited to:

Headliner Replacement

Frame Repair/ Straightening

Suspension and Related Repairs

Undercoating

Fiberglass / Paint Repair on Boats and RVs

 




Who do I pay my deductible to?



If the deductible has not been waived, it is the responsibility of the vehicle owner to pay the deductible to Downie's Collision Center at the completion of the repair.  If you have any questions on whether a deductible is owed, please contact your claim representative or our staff.


How will I know when my vehicle is ready?



One of our friendly staff will contact you as soon as your vehicle is ready to be picked up.  If a pick up or drop off is necessary, please let us know and we can make the proper arrangements with you to ensure that your vehicle is returned to you with ease.


How long will the repairs to my vehicle take?



The length of  repair time varies per vehicle. Please ask one of our staff and they can give you an accurate time frame that is needed to finish repair and return your vehicle.


Do I have to use the Automotive Body Shop recommended by my insurance company?



Direct repair shops are used for the ease of the insurance companies; however, as the owner of the vehicle you have the right to choose whichever shop you feel the most comfortable with.  After you have made your claim, please feel free to contact us for any assistance.  Our staff is always available to answer any questions that you may have on meeting the adjuster and getting the repair process started.  It isn't everyday that you wreck your vehicle, so call someone who can walk you through the process as painlessly as possible.
