Scuba Diving

Diving Locker & Ski Chalet is Savannah's only scuba center that offers scuba rangers training for 8-12-year-olds all the way up to instructor training. We take our diving instruction as serious diving-serious fun. Diving Locker and Ski Chalet has its own indoor pool on site so you can have unlimited pool time to practice your skills at no extra charge to you.

Scuba Rangers
Scuba ranger program for kids only; 8-12 years olds. Five-day program learn to snorkel and scuba dive with Captain Kelp & Puffer.
Special Trips and classes for Scuba Rangers.

Open Water Program
Diving Locker Ski Chalet's open water program from 10 years of age and up. Diving Locker and Ski Chalet's open water program is set up so any one can fit diving into their schedule. We have weekday, weekend and private classes available. You name the time and we can do the class, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. After your class and pool work, you can dive with us on a trip or do a referral to another location. In your open water program, you learn underwater photo, night Diving, computer diving, fish identification, boat diving, which is added at no additional cost to your core program.

DIVER STRESS & RESCUE
This course teaches the latest rescue techniques and help you gain confidence and become a better diver.

DIVE CONTROL SPECIALIST
Dive Con is our Initial Dive Leadership level and considered by many as the fun leadership rating. Dive Con is Divemaster and Assistant Instructor in one course.

OPEN WATER INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM
Quality instead of Quantity -- the Diving Locker can take you from the beginning to becoming an Instructor. We give you the tools to teach and have fun. Come by for more information. We are Savannah's only instructor training facility.
