Infant & Toddler Care

Our infants love Discovery Schooltoddlers surrounded by a stimulating environmentOur children learn sharing and other important values

Infants: Our infant Room is designed to meet their special needs. The room is divided into four areas: sleeping alcoves for undisturbed naps, a play area, a diapering area and a feeding area. The infants also have a screened porch with a ceiling fan so they can also enjoy the fresh air. Their room is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The caregivers are warm, loving and nurturing ladies who will take care of your child's every need.

Creepers: Our Creepers also have their specials needs met. Special tables with seats designed for the little ones that are just learning to feed themselves are provided. The diapering area has a flushing unit and a hand washing area to provide safe and sanitary diapering procedures. A screened porch provides safe “outside” time using toys made just for their age. Our caregivers have special qualities of warmth and understanding for young children and how they grow.

Toddlers: What a special age – language skills are growing rapidly, potty training is beginning, and gross motor skills are increasing as they want to run everywhere instead of walk. They enjoy music, finger painting, riding toys and the outside playground. Everything is new, exciting, and fun as they are accomplishing so much for the very first time!
