Dr. Welch sponsored Pleasant Hill Elementary School for Shade Sturcture Grant 2006.

The unveiling of the shade structure was a fun event!  Dr. Welch was invited to the ribbon cutting ceremony attended by many of the students and teachers.  The kids were very well versed in sun safety facts thanks to the leadership and guidance of their principal, Ms Margret Mitchell.
