Meet the Dentist
Dr. Kiono Lance Barnes was born in Lansing, MI, and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast by way of Diberville. He graduated from Biloxi High School and then obtained a Bachelors Degree in Science at Florida A and M University. Later, he earned a Doctor of Medical Dentistry Degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry.
Dr. Barnes completed a post graduate general practice residency at the Biloxi VA in 2005. After being displaced by Hurricane Katrina, he subsequently managed a practice in Atlanta, GA, for a period of one year.
In 2006 he relocated back to the coast where he practiced as a contract general dentist for one year at Keesler Air Force Base. In early 2007 he began Dental Concepts, where he has been practicing ever since.
When not at his office, Dr. Barnes enjoys playing tennis, basketball, and spending time with his family. He is a proud father of two sons and a daughter, and a loving husband to his wife, Latoya, who assists him in managing Dental Concepts.
