Photorejuvenation:
Photorejuvenation or "non-ablative resurfacing" has become one of the most popular cosmetic procedures being performed. A number of beneficial changes on and below the skin can result from treatments using noncoherent, polychromatic light. These changes are able to improve the majority of skin problems typically resulting from photodamage. Photorejuvenation treatments are typically given in a series to improve a number of irregularities.
Brown Spot:
Hyperpigmentation, or dark splotching, is one of the first signs of aging skin. Sun spots, or sun-induced skin discoloration known as chloasma, generally begins in our late teens and gets more pronounced as we grow older. For many individuals, hormones also play a significant part in causing hyperpigmentation.
The brown spots characteristic of "age spots", "liver spots", and "sun damage" all result from the same cause. Whenever someone has an area of hyper pigmentation (dark spots or splotches) there is a high concentration of active melanocytes in the lower epidermis which produces melanin pigment and deposits it in epidermal cells which are moving up toward the surface of the skin. The key to reducing hyper pigmentation is to avoid the primary factor that is stimulating the melanocytes-namely sun exposure. As long as you continue exposing your skin to the sun or tanning beds and fail to use a broad-spectrum sunscreen, melanin production will continue.
Many hyper pigmentation and problem pigment areas are related to sun damage and the natural aging process. Because our system utilizes selected broadband light, it is capable of treating wide varieties of skin concerns for a variety of skin types. Using this broadband light technology is able to safely and effectively remove ages spots, "liver spot", sun spots, and other pigmentation problems with little no downtime. Spider Veins and Broken Capillaries
Sun exposure, the natural aging process, and other factor often results in broken capillaries and the appearance of the small, unsightly vessel on the face (commonly called spider veins). Sometimes the broken capillaries cause a general redness called "erythema" a common by product of the skin condition known as rocesea.
Our system uses a broadband of light to target certain problem areas in the skin (in this case, blood in a tiny vessel) while the surrounding tissue is left unaffected. By coagulating the blood with the vessels, the light reduces redness, flushing and related vascular conditions.
