When you travel to Southern Florida your vacation will not be complete until you have had a chance to stop by Coopertown. Coopertown is a small, friendly little town with a population of 8 human residents. We are located 11 miles west of the Florida turnpike, on U.S .41 in The Heart of the Florida Everglades.

Coopertown is Home of the Original Airboat Tours. We have given scenic and educational tours of The Florida Everglades river of grass since 1945.

We have been serving locals and out-of-town visitors fresh frog legs, alligator tail and home cooking in our world famous roadside restaurant for over 60 years. So, stop by Coopertown and walk around our friendly little town. Take a look at our alligator exhibit. See Big Man, our 14-foot alligator, and some of his offspring.
