X-rays are used to help the Chiropractor in diagnosing a multitude of disorders. The Chiropractor will request X-rays of the area of complaint in order to find out about the misalignment of your skeletal spine.
X-rays dosage is not significant enough to cause a health risk. The X-ray machine beams radiation through the body part, which is collected on an X-ray film inside a metal plate. Even though the dosage is not a lot, it is important not to have X-rays done if you are pregnant or undergoing any cancer therapy.
For a more serious condition, a very specialized study of a MRI or CT Scan may be requested and read by a Medical Radiologist. The Radiologist will read the study and give a detailed review of information about the spine, ligaments, and disc material which helps the Chiropractor to determine the best treatment for the patient.

Feet are the foundation of the body. The way an individual stands at work, home, or leisure activities plays an important part in their lower back, hip, and knee conditions. The office now can scan the patient’s feet to see where the amount of pressure is made on the bones and soft tissue structures.
We can have orthotics made-to-order from the scan, which helps to stabilize the feet for a sound foundation. This in turn will improve the body’s balance. Stabilizers help to increase the patient’s strength, enhance athletic performance, and keep the body energized to the end of the day.
