STEVEN H. SELZNICK, D.O., FAAFP, CMD Dr. Selznick received his medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. He started his medical practice in Casselberry in 1983, and is the founder and President of CFP Physicians Group. He holds membership in numerous Medical Associations; is a staff member of many local hospitals; and serves as a Medical Director of several Nursing facilities and Home Health Agencies. He is on the speaker’s bureau of multiple pharmaceutical companies and provides medical legal counsel to a number of law firms. He is a strong supporter of local charities, and his special interest is to spend time with his family.
HUGH W. THOMAS, D.O., FAAFP, CMD Dr. Thomas received his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. He joined CFP Physicians Group in 1989 after serving 11 years in the US Navy and receiving an honorable discharge. Dr. Thomas is a Fellow in the AAFP and is a certified medical director in the AMDA. He currently serves as vice-president of the FMDA. He and his wife Gina enjoy travel, snow skiing and are motorcycle enthusiasts.
ADRIAN L. BURROWES, M.D. Dr. Burrowes received his Doctorate in Medicine from the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami. He is Board Certified as a Diplomat to the American Board of Family Practice; and has received numerous state medical awards including Resident Physician of the Year and Outstanding Guest Lecturer. He enjoys treating patients of all ages from the excitement of newborn infants to the very specialized care of the elderly.
VENKATESH P. NAGALAPADI, MD Dr. Nagalapadi joined CFP Physicians Group in 2004 after completing his fellowship in Geriatrics at the Donald W Reynolds Center of Aging in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is Board certified in Geriatrics and Family Medicine, and serves as Medical Director of several local Nursing facilities and Home Health agencies. He has been married to Nirupama for 10 years with a four year son Aarya. They are self confessed geeks that enjoy books, music, and travel.
AKILA BALASUBRAMANIAN, M.D. Dr Akila Balasubramanian joined CFP Physicians Group in 2006 after finishing her residency in Family Medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa. She was certified by the American Board of Family Medicine in 2006. She is an author with special interest in Geriatrics and Women’s Health. She is married and is blessed with a son. With her husband and son, she likes to travel, play tennis, and watch movies.
GEORGE V. CESTARO, M.D. FAAFP Dr. George Cestaro joined CFP Physicians Group in March 2007 after being in a solo family practice in Casselberry since 1972. Dr. Cestaro obtained his MD from State University of New York, and interned at Naval Hospitals in Jacksonville and the Philippines. He has been married to his wife, Joan, for 43 years and has two sons and one daughter. He enjoys travel, personal fitness, family time, and playing golf poorly.
PODIATRISTS
ALBERT KAPLAN, DPM Dr. Kaplan has been a part of CFP Physicians Group since 2001. His education and residency were done at Barry University in South Florida. He is a guest lecturer for the American Diabetic Association, with particular interest in diabetic foot and wound care. He enjoys working with patients of all ages but his true love for geriatrics.
UYEN DAO, DPM Dr. Uyen Dao joined CFP Physicians Group in 2002. She received her podiatric education at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida and residency training at Tucson VA Medical Center in Arizona. She provides quality foot care for all patients, and her hobbies include yoga, photography and travel.
FRANK J. KOLOSKY, MA, PA-C Mr. Kolosky received his Masters Degree in Health Care Administration from Central Michigan University in 1983. He is a certified Physician Assistant serving in the Navy from 1969-1989. His medical focus is working with Geriatrics and Nursing Homes.
ANDREA L KERINUK, PA-C Andrea is enjoying a second career as a physician assistant with the CFP Care Team. A graduate of D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY. She has an Arts degree working several years in the performing arts. Her practice interests are cardiology and geriatric medicine.
ELIZABETH RASH, PhD, ARNP Liz is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has a Doctorate in Education from the University of Central Florida, and teaches in the Nursing program at that University. Her areas of expertise include pharmacology, health promotion, and women’s health.
KATHE L. HYPES, MSN, ARNP Kathe’s healthcare career spans thirty years, including fifteen years with CFP. She is a valuable part of our physician team, and her main focus is long term care. She received her master’s of nursing degree from the Univ. of Florida (but is a rabid Florida State fan).
JACQUELINE HUDSON, ARNP Jackie received her early nursing training at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. She was twice honored for Excellence in Nursing, and Contributions to her Community. After moving to Florida in 1999, she completed her Masters Degree in Nursing at UCF.
LORI CRUGER, ARNP, BC, CWS Lori received a BS degree in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, and Board Certification as a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining the CFP staff, she was a Clinical Assistant Professor, and worked as a nursing home Geriatric Nurse.
