Celebrating 60 Years
Catering By George’s has specialized in quality food service for three generations. Established by L.M. and Belva George in 1948, the company first began as a grocery store on Raymond Road in South Jackson. In the mid 1980’s, the grocery store was converted into a cafeteria. The business has since evolved into an off-site catering company. Our who’s who list of customers has included President Ronald Reagan, The Beach Boys, Jerry Lee Lewis, Dr. Arthur C. Guyton and Brett Favre.
Catering By George’s has served Mississippi during the state’s toughest times. We provided thousands of meals during the Mississippi Delta ice storm in 1994 and Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
Our corporate office is now located in our banquet hall, Reservoir Pointe at Madison Landing on the Reservoir. The Reservoir Pointe is a spectacular facility which caters to private events such as wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, special galas, company meetings and reunions. We have been at the Madison Landing location for more than a decade.
