Our History
Clifford and Joyce Bagot moved to the High Country of North Carolina from Northern Virginia in 2000. The couple decided to move to the High County after Clifford retired from new home development sales and Joyce retired from a position with a publishing company. When Clifford found that both year-round and the High Country's many seasonal residents had no place to shop for quality outdoor furniture and hearth products without a trip “off the mountain”, he began researching products and exploring the business climate. By early 2005, Clifford found showroom space and began planning for the actual opening. Boone Patio & Fireplace opened in August 2005.
