Bolton’s Equipment Company, founded in 1958, has a rich history as a family-owned company. Bert Bolton, Sr., dedicated his nights to running the business while working at Charleston Air Force Base full time. In 1965 Bert left CAFB behind running the business in a small building in the back yard of his home. Running the business for a small building in the back yard of his home, Bert slowly built his customer base with good customer service and a die-hard work ethic.

In 1976 the company moved to it’s present location where the business is operated by two of the three sons Bert and his wife raised. Today Bolton’s is a thriving business celebrating it’s 51st year of providing commercial and residential lawn and garden equipment sales and service. The company remains a family affair with Mom, managing the business along with the sons.

Our primary goal is your satisfaction and our Service Department is committed to 48 hours or less turnaround for our commercial/industrial customers and about 10 days or less for our residential customers.
