Best Westchester Movers was established in April 1996. Joe Diaz bought the company from his father-in-law, who founded and established it in 1972. The goal of Best Westchester Movers from the very beginning was to provide professional moving and storage services to our customers without the middleman.
This is why we remain independent. In 1998, we purchased a competitor moving company, Martin Van Lines, to acquire additional clients and expand the company even more. We bought all of their trucks and also purchased a bigger warehouse to accommodate both companies. The company's legal name is Best Westchester Movers, Inc. D.B.A. Martin Van Lines. We are also marketing a simpler name, Best Movers, which simply says it all about our services.
Best Westchester Movers has always been customer first. Without our customers, we wouldn't still be in business after 33 years. Joe Diaz takes pride in being personally involved in all aspects of the business.
