Bessemer Tire & Automotive, Inc. first opened its doors in 1967 as a full-service Esso gasoline station. Founder William L. Roach Sr. cultivated the business by offering excellent service and parts. Today after a semi-retirement, Mr. Roach serves as president while son William L. Roach Jr. is responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of the company.
As Greensboro has grown, so has Bessemer Tire & Automotive, Inc. grown, making the transition from service station to automotive service center.
