About Us
 Battery
Sales and Service was established in 1977 by John Anderson.
Mr. Anderson died suddenly in 1983 and his son, James "Scooter"
Anderson took over management of the business.
In 1999 Battery Sales and Service established full service warehouses
in Nashville, Mobile, and Birmingham, Alabama. The following
year another full service warehouse was opened in New Orleans,
LA. Most recently in 2002, Battery Sales and Service acquired
a warehouse in Lafayette, LA.
In 2001 Battery Sales and Service became one of eleven Master
Distributors of Delco Remy/Delphi batteries. Battery Sales has
been a Trojan Master Distributor since 1999, when Trojan Battery
established the Master Distributor program.
