What is your warranty?

Our product has a lifetime warranty on installations as long as you own your home. You may obtain a copy for your records at the showroom.

What products do you manufacture other than closets?

We can organize any space in your home, including garages, pantries, utility rooms, mud rooms, entertainment centers, bookshelves, home offices, wardrobe cabinets and anywhere you need cabinets or shelving.

How much does a closet cost?

Each individual closet is custom-tailored to your specific need. Depending on how basic or how elaborate you would like the space to be, the cost is reflected in the design specifications of that particular space. You set the budget and we will design a plan to suit your need. Changes can always be made to enhance a design or re-design to stay within a budget. The best way we can estimate your cost is to send a designer to your home to measure and assess what your needs are. You may also stop in one of our showrooms. We have many displays that will give you a general idea of costs and more ideas for your home.

How long is the appointment with your designer?

Your appointment will take approximately one hour for 1-3 closets. If it's a few closets plus a garage system, then allow two hours with the designer. The designer will take an inventory of the items you want to store and discuss with you some ideas for the design layout to ensure you will receive the best design to meet your specific needs. Your designer will proceed to work on your design in a quiet setting in our office to ensure all the details of your design are thought out properly and not overlooked or rushed if done on site. We will then call you when your design is ready for review or after it has been emailed. You may review it in our showroom, which is highly recommended; this way you will see and touch the quality of the proposed products and view detailed options. If you are unable to come to the showroom, you can review via telephone or send us an email reply with any questions or changes you may have.

Do you offer free installation?

Installation is always included when you receive your cost pricing.

How long after we receive our design can it be installed?

Since we manufacture our own products, our turnaround time is quick. Typically, it is 10 days to 2 weeks. If you are in a hurry, we can make provisions to have your installation done sooner. Larger, more elaborate projects may take longer if additional custom shop preparations are required. You may ask your designer at the initial appointment when you can have your project completed.

How long will the installation take?

The average closet system can be installed in one day in typically 3-4 hours since your materials are already cut and prepared in our factory. Larger orders may take additional time. Once installed, the system is fully cleaned by our installers and ready for use. The only thing we leave behind is . . . more space.

Do you install before or after carpet?

An off-the-floor hanging system can be installed before your new carpet installation. If you are having a floor-mounted system installed, then after carpet installation is best for the client.

How much deposit is required?

50% deposit and the balance are required on completion.

What type of material do you offer?

We use a 3/4" thick melamine wood laminate or wood veneer. Please see our color selection of finishes and our accessory page. You may also visit our showroom to view the systems in a variety of wood tones and see the difference in the quality of our products and installations.

How are your systems installed?

They are securely fastened to the wall studs. Whether you order a hanging system or a floor-mounted system, it will still be anchored to the wall without a backer board. Backing is not needed for a system to be structurally sound. Backing in a closet can be requested and must be noted on the design because it is not common. Typically most installations are done without it because it is simply not needed. For free standing systems, some floor mounts, entertainment centers, wardrobe cabinets and some free standing office designs, a backer is installed to provide these units structural security because they are free standing units.

How do your prices compare to other companies?

Artistic Closets has worked hard over the last 19 years to ensure the highest quality of products and service in the industry to our valued customers, from our American-made board material supplier to our drawer and door laminating process, full extension drawers slides, European hinges, heavy-duty drawer box construction, quality accessories, clean installation techniques and skilled craftsmen, right down to our shelf pins and fasteners. We also offer raised panel fronts as a standard and not as an upgrade. Our prices may not be the cheapest and may not be the highest, but we are usually right in the middle due to the product quality we provide to our customers. Different design layouts will also reflect cost differences. We feel quality is remembered long after price is forgotten. We believe everyone has that story to tell of what happened when they chose the cheapest company for their renovation project.

I live by the ocean. Will your product hold up to the salt air?

Yes, Hutchinson Island North and South, Jensen Beach, Stuart, Sewalls Point, Hobe Sound, Tequesta, Jupiter, Jupiter Island, Juno Beach, Singer Island, Palm Beach, Vero Beach and Orchid Island clients have enjoyed our products for the last 19 years without any issues from the salt air.

How about the garage system, will it hold up to the humidity?

Yes, our products are fully warranted for as long as you own your home, and again our clients have enjoyed our same quality of material products since 1992.
