Our Partners
Animal Care Hospital of Matthews is proud to partner and work with the following organizations.
The Phoenix Landing Foundation
The Phoenix Landing Foundation is a non-profit organization that is comprised completely of volunteers. It was established to promote and protect the welfare of parrots, especially those with an extensive lifespan. Animal Care Hospital provides medical treatment for the parrots fostered in our area. Guiding Eyes for the Blind
Guiding Eyes is a non-profit organization that is comprised completely of volunteers. Guiding Eyes raises and trains puppies prior to formal seeing eye guide dog training. We provide medical treatment for 1 to 2 puppies per year in their initial training session with a volunteer. For more information about Guiding Eyes for the Blind visit their website at www.guidingeyes.org.
Greyhound Lifesavers
Greyhound Lifesavers is a greyhound rescue group that take in recently retired racing greyhounds. Greyhound Lifesavers attends to the dogs' medical needs and then finds a loving home for them to enjoy their "retirement." Animal Care has joined with Greyhound Lifesavers in establishing a fund in hour of our beloved greyhound, Belle, who died March 4, 2006. The purpose of this fund is to pay for the testing, vaccinations, dental care, and spaying/neutering of the rescued greyhounds. The Belle Fund sponsors one greyhound at a time. Therefore, contributors will know which dog they are sponsoring with their donations. Animal Care's hope is that this fund will help more families to experience the love and devotion of a greyhound just as we were so fortunate to have experienced with Belle. For more information about Greyhound Lifesavers visit their website at www.greyhoundlifesavers.org.
