What About Brushing?
Brushing between grooming appointments is important. One important tip to prevent matting: NEVER bathe your pet without a thorough brushing out.

WHY Necessary?
The term matted is used when your pet’s hair is severely tangled and a comb cannot be run through it.  Removing mats can be painful and often impossible. Shaving is the alternative that gives an opportunity to treat underlying skin conditions or flea problems. Their skin remains healthier when these conditions can be properly addressed. Frequent brushing can eliminate the need for shaving.
