Dear Parents,
Now that Fall is here, we will be talking about changes in the weather & leaves. Our Fall Party is October 29 at 10:00A.M..We will have cotton candy, apple dunking, and popcorn. Dr. Magic will also be joining us. Parents are welcome to send snacks for the children.
The children will be studying the alphabet. We will be working with vowels. The letters H, I, J, & K. They will talk about the look and sound of the letters and words that begin with those letters.
Shapes, Colors, and Nursery Rhymes will be covered this month. The shapes they will practice drawing and recognizing is Trapezoid, Rectangle, Heart, and Hexagon. They will talk about the following colors : black, pink, and white. The Nursery Rhymes this month are: Two Little Black Birds, Hickory Dickory Dock, Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater, Little Old Woman in the Shoe.
We will also talk about Christopher Columbus and Scientific Facts. Please feel free to share any ideas or thoughts you may have that will help us with our studies.
***Thanksgiving Holidays are November 23-27, 2009***
