Dear Frank and Sandy,
Your salesperson misrepresented some facts regarding the A/C unit we were buying. When we discovered this error, we immediately called your company and explained the situation. You instantly stated that this wasn’t a problem and that you would install the correct one, which occurred the very next day. This was quite a shock to us, because in doing so your company absorbed a loss. The unit taken out would then have to be sold as a used one.
As we are all aware of, we are in the middle of some very tough economic times. People are out of work and businesses are closing due to the financial strain.
Yesterday, Frank called to inform us that Duke Energy was giving a $200 rebate because this unit is an energy saving device. He went out of his way to make sure all info was correct, so that we would get this money in a timely manner.
I believed this kind of service, honesty and professionalism was a thing of the past. Thank you for proving me wrong. I will certainly recommend your company to all who need A/C care, upkeep, and an honest company who not only stands behind their work but also their word.
If necessary, give my phone number to anyone who would like me to share my experience with them regarding your company.

Dear Frank,
I just wanted to take the time to say how impressed I’ve been with Air Today. When I was trying to decide what company to buy from, I knew I’d found the right one when you took the time to really explain all of the ins and outs of an HVAC unit, and to answer every one of the many questions I had. I got the feeling you were an honest, trustworthy company who took pride in their business. Well, I was right. When I called you because my power bill was high after the installation of the new unit, you came out the same day. After discovering that there was a problem with the unit, you were honest enough to tell me that the problem with the HVAC unit was what had caused my electric bill to go up over the past few months. Most people would have just walked away and told me my electric bills were my problem, and that the company was not liable. Once again I was blown away when you told me that you were going to cover the cost of the increase in my electric bill over the past three months! I have to admit, I was still a little skeptical. Then a week later I received the check in the mail. You even sent me a letter in the mail when I changed my phone number reminding me that it was time for my FREE annual checkup. You guys are the best!
I just want to say thank you for all that you’ve done. You and Sandy have always been such a pleasure to work with. I have recommended you to friends and family (and a few strangers), and will continue to do so. I look forward to doing business with you for many years to come.

I talked to you yesterday about coming over to see what was involved with my A/C not working and you reminded me about the drain pan float switch. I had bumped it several times while cleaning up the unit and it was tilted over – raising the float switch!
I had taken the relays (4) apart and checked out the contact points. One of the relays had two that were not making contact and I cleaned them with 600 grit sandpaper. So now the dampers should be working okay!
I had some of the supply grilles closed to get more air in the bedroom and bonus room because the dampers were not working properly, but now I’ve got everything open.
My old York compressor is still going good, but it’s days are getting shorter.
We live on Social Security only, so I try to fix as much as I can. Thanks so much for your honesty!! Hard to find these days – and when I run across it…….I KEEP IT!!
I’ll call you next time I need help – (and refer you to my new neighbor)
