What to Expect on the Day of your Appointment

A1 Woman's Health Care Inc. will provide you, the patient, with solid information about the procedure you are requesting. It may be discomforting to discuss the procedure prior to your appointment, so we encourage you to call us with any questions and concerns. It is important that you know and understand important facts and details surrounding your decision.

Your appointment will include the following, which can be accomplished all in one day or separated into two visits:

• An ultrasound to determine the length of your pregnancy
• Lab work to measure iron levels and determine blood type
• Documentation of vital signs
• Birth control education and personal counseling to discuss your questions and feelings about the abortion, possible complications and necessary follow up care
• The abortion procedure and recovery time

Our Fees

Fees include all costs associated with the duration of the pregnancy and the procedure, with the exception of prescriptions. Payment includes sonogram(s), laboratory tests, anesthesia, surgery, follow up visit, and if required, contraceptive sample and prescription. Fees may be paid with cash ONLY and payment is required at the time of your appointment, prior to the procedure.
